Pr\u00e9sent\u00e9e par le Dr <strong>Charles Saab<\/strong> lors des Journ\u00e9es M\u00e9dicales SOLFED 2017, cette \u00e9tude met en lumi\u00e8re le r\u00f4le central du centre dans l\u2019accompagnement m\u00e9dical, \u00e9ducatif et social des patients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le centre offre un suivi complet selon les recommandations internationales : insulinoth\u00e9rapie, mat\u00e9riel de suivi glyc\u00e9mique, acc\u00e8s \u00e0 une hotline 24h\/24, suivi multidisciplinaire (endocrinologues, infirmiers \u00e9ducateurs, di\u00e9t\u00e9ticiens, ophtalmologistes, dentistes, psychologues et assistants sociaux). L\u2019objectif est de favoriser l\u2019autonomie des jeunes patients et leur int\u00e9gration sociale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les statistiques montrent une <strong>augmentation continue du nombre de patients enregistr\u00e9s<\/strong> (2 359 en mars 2017), avec un suivi r\u00e9gulier des indicateurs comme l\u2019HbA1c et la pr\u00e9vention des complications (r\u00e9tinopathie, ob\u00e9sit\u00e9, etc.).
